Tropical, any way

Bogotá is characterized by a cold climate with temperatures oscillating between -5°C – 26°C. However as shown in this picture tropic is evident every where, from the colorful umbrella of a street vendor to the slender palm tree standing out, over the houses at left.

  3. P.S. Are many of the streets made of brick? We have a few in Astoria, but they're partly covered with asphalt. The brick is supposed to be an under-layer because some of the streets are built on pilings over nothing.

  4. Just to answer some of the questions: The lady in the cart sells some kind of sweet ring shaped pastry, fried in oil. The prices, maybe just $1 for a pack of five. Temperature these days in Btá are 20°C to 26°C in the afternoon. In the nights just 8°C or less. And about the bricks, in the histroic part of the city there are a lot of streets made only with bricks, but where there are cars using them they get easly damaged.
